How We Met:

It all began in Columbus, Georgia, April 31, 2018. Hilary and a group of friends were stopping by to pick up her twin sister, Josephine, on their way to New Orleans. Her Brother in Law, Luis, had just got off work and wanted them to meet him and his buddies for dinner at Olive Garden. This is when they first met. Hilary thought Tony was handsome and Tony gave flirty eyes to Hilary. They wouldn't see each other for another year until Hilary's sister moved to Fort Hood and as fate would have it, so did Tony. Josephine and Luis tried their hardest to get Tony and Hilary together but it just wasn't the right time for both of them. Finally during the snowpocalypse of 2021 Hilary and Tony saw each other in a different light and decided to give it a shot. From that day on, they knew they had something special.

Our Journey:

Over the years, we’ve shared countless adventures, from living in four states together to having our baby boy, Tres. Each moment has brought us closer together and strengthened our love.

The Proposal:

Hilary had just returned from her visit to Kentucky and was ready for a fun weekend with Tony at Myrtle Beach. Call it intuition but Hilary knew that he was up to something and even confided in her friends Rachel and Taylor, "I think he is going to propose this weekend." They were quick to tell her that she shouldn't get her hopes up and just enjoy the weekend. They said that because those sneaky ladies knew he was going to, they just wanted to calm her down. They head to Myrtle beach, where Tony feels like she is on to his surprise, so he asks her silly questions like, what kind of ring would you like if I propose, how much do rings cost, and what size are you? All of these questions had been answered multiple times and irritated Hilary, enough to throw her off his scent. The next day at Myrtle Beach, Hilary and Tony go to a cute little bar on the pier and have their favorite, Tequila. Tony tells Hilary he has to check the car because he doesn't know if he parked in a good parking spot. He leaves her alone on the pier and the thought comes back to her head...is he proposing? What she doesn't know is that Tony goes to the car and puts the ring in his wallet, because he knows she might notice the ring in his pocket. Tony returns and tells her they should get on the Skywheel. As they are walking, Hilary glances at his pockets and they didn't appear to having anything in them, so she dismisses the thoughts of a proposal. They get on the Skywheel and as they reach the very top Tony gets on one knee and pops the question. It was intimate, beautiful and it was a moment they'll cherish forever!!
